Our Story
The Solis family legacy in auto body repair began in 1948 when Richard G. Solis opened Richard’s Body Shop in East Los Angeles. It was there that his son, Rich, first learned the trade starting as a painter’s apprentice right after high school.
In 1974 Rich worked as an estimator for State Farm Insurance Agency in LA. In 1977 he was offered the opportunity to relocate to Northern California and settled in Cameron Park. After years of experience and building a reputation for honesty and quality work, he was offered the General Manager position at a local body shop.
Rich and his wife Sandi raised their two children, Rich Jr. and Jen., who are both part of the family business. In April 2001, Rich and Sandi opened Solis Collision Center, creating a family-owned business built on decades of experience, integrity, and dedication to the community. Today, the tradition continues with the next generation working alongside them and an amazing team we call family.
